Logo Design Orlando: Custom Branding and Professional Identity
Your logo is the first thing your customers see. It sits on your website, your business card, your social media, your storefront, your truck, your email signature. And if it looks cheap, amateurish, or dated, your entire brand looks that way even if your product is incredible.
I’m Dennis Ocasio, and I’ve been designing logos and building brands for 30 years. I started in advertising and print design, moved into web design, and now I help Orlando small businesses create identities they’re proud to display. A good logo isn’t just pretty. It works. It communicates what you do. It sticks in people’s minds. And it makes your business look professional from day one.
The Problem: DIY Logos and Inconsistent Branding
- Hired a cheap designer on Fiverr and got 50 generic concepts that don’t fit
- Used Canva and created a logo that looks like it was designed by an algorithm
- No brand consistency. Website logo looks different from social media, which doesn’t match the business card
- Can’t change the colors or size without losing quality
- Don’t have the right file formats for printing
The cheapest route becomes the most expensive mistake. You end up spending more time managing the chaos than you would’ve investing in one good design upfront.
Why Your Logo Is the Foundation of Your Brand
A good logo works in color and black-and-white, works at any size, communicates what your business does, is memorable, stands the test of time, differentiates you from competitors, and reflects your personality and values.
Types of Logos and When Each Works Best
Wordmark (Logotype)
Your business name styled with custom typography. Think Google or FedEx. Best when your business name is strong on its own.
Lettermark (Monogram)
Just the initials of your business name designed as a symbol. Think IBM or HBO. Best when your name is long or you need something compact.
Icon/Symbol (Abstract Mark)
A graphic symbol separate from your name, like Apple’s apple or Nike’s swoosh. Best for building a memorable visual over time.
Combination Mark
Your name and an icon together. Most common type of logo. Think Amazon or Slack. Gives you flexibility to use the icon alone or the full logo.
Emblem
Your business name inside a badge, crest, or seal. Think Harley-Davidson or Starbucks. Feels authoritative and timeless.

How Logo Design Connects to Your Marketing
When people visit your website, the first thing they see is your logo. Same with social media and Google Ads. Your logo is the thread that ties all your marketing together.
Logo Redesign: When and Why to Rebrand
Consider a redesign when: your business model changed, your brand feels dated, you’re targeting a different audience, or your current logo doesn’t work digitally. Don’t redesign just because you want something different or to save money.
